New Delhi, Agencies. South India is currently facing a flood situation due to heavy rains. For the past several days, due to heavy rains in states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala, life has been disturbed. Most of the states of South India have also been assured of help from the Center. Talking about the latest weather updates, heavy rain may occur in Tamil Nadu today. On the other hand, the Karnataka government has announced compensation for the flood-affected people.

The Regional Center of India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu today. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and thundershower activities in the southern coastal areas of the state. Let us inform that earlier an orange alert was issued in the capital Chennai and neighboring districts from Thursday to Saturday. At the same time, keeping in mind the destruction caused by heavy rains in Karnataka, the Chief Minister has announced compensation for the affected people. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had talked to the Chief Minister regarding the floods.

Let us inform that due to the build-up of pressure and cyclonic winds in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, most of the states of South India have recorded heavy rains in the month of November. A large number of people have lost their lives in the flood situation caused by heavy rains in Karnataka between November 1 and 21.

On the other hand, the capital of Jharkhand witnessed light fog today. Along with the light breeze, people are feeling the Kankani. There is a possibility of a big change in the weather from Saturday 27 November. Apart from this, it is being predicted that it may rain for the next two to three days.
