Sharad Yadav passes away: Sharad Yadav has been MP from Madhepura seat of Bihar four times. He has also been a minister at the Center along with the President of Janata Dal United (JDU). On the death of Sharad Yadav, all the leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have paid tribute.

Former Union Minister and former National President of Janata Dal United (JDU) Sharad Yadav (Sharad Yadav Passes Away) has passed away at the age of 75. Sharad Yadav’s daughter Shubhasini Yadav gave this information on social media. All the leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have paid tribute to Sharad Yadav.

PM Modi paid tribute

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on Twitter, ‘I am deeply saddened by the demise of Sharad Yadav. In his long public career, he distinguished himself as a parliamentarian and minister. He was greatly influenced by the ideals of Dr. Lohia. I will always cherish our conversation. Condolences to his family and fans. om Shanti.’

Sharad Yadav was an important national voice of the underprivileged in Parliament: President

President Draupadi Murmu condoled the demise of Sharad Yadav. He said- It was sad to know about the demise of former Union Minister Shri Sharad Yadav. Sharad ji, a student leader of the seventies who fought for democratic values, was an important national voice of the underprivileged in Parliament. My deepest condolences to his family and fans.

While paying tribute to Sharad Yadav, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar described him as a popular leader and efficient administrator. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar tweeted, “Saddened by the untimely demise of former Union Minister and veteran MP Sharad Yadav. A popular leader and efficient administrator, he set high standards in public life. My deepest condolences to his family members and well wishers. om Shanti!”

Lalu paid tribute through video message

Lalu Prasad Yadav has paid tribute to Sharad Yadav through video message from Singapore hospital. Lalu said in the video, ‘I am very disturbed after hearing the news of the death of elder brother Sharad Yadav. I am very sad and very hurt. Sharad Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Nitish Kumar, I along with other leaders have been doing politics in the company of people’s leader Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and Karpoori Thakur. Today I was deeply saddened by his sudden departure. He was a great socialist leader. He was candid. I used to fight with him sometimes. There would have been differences, but no differences. He is no longer with us. God give peace to his soul. My condolences to the bereaved families.

Lok Sabha speaker expressed grief

Expressing grief over the death of Sharad Yadav, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said, “I condole the death of senior politician, former MP Sharad Yadav. He was a great socialist leader with extraordinary talent who worked hard to alleviate the pain of the underprivileged and exploited.” He dedicated his life for this. His death is a big loss for the socialist movement. My condolences to the family members.”

Sushil Kumar Modi tweeted

In Bihar, BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi tweeted, ‘Sharad Yadav was my political guardian. He had a big role in making me the Deputy Chief Minister. Bihar will never forget his contribution.

Tejashwi Yadav also tweeted

RJD leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav has expressed grief over the death of Sharad Yadav by tweeting. He said, “I am saddened by the news of the untimely demise of Mandal Messiah, senior RJD leader, great socialist leader and my guardian respected Sharad Yadav ji. I am unable to say anything. Had a conversation with mother and brother Shantanu. In this hour of grief, the entire Samajwadi family is with the family members.

BJP MP Ramkripal Yadav wrote- Om Shanti

Former RJD leader and currently BJP MP Ram Kripal Yadav tweeted, ‘Shocked by the news of the demise of former Union Minister Shri Sharad Yadav. May God give peace to the departed soul and strength to the family members to bear the loss. Om Shanti.’

Misa Bharti also paid tribute

Misa Bharti, the elder daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav, wrote, ‘Today the strong voice of socialism has definitely calmed down, but it will always shine in our memories as an inspiration! Tearful emotional tribute to respected Sharad _ Yadav ji.

Bihar leader Pappu Yadav paid tribute

Bihar leader Pappu Yadav tweeted, “Heartbroken to hear the news of the demise of Sharad Yadav, a veteran politician of the country, a warrior of socialism and social justice. There may have been a difference of opinion in politics, but he always had a relation of affection. God bless his soul.” May you rest in peace. My deepest condolences to Subhashini ji and Shantanu ji.”

Sharad Yadav has been MP from Madhepura seat of Bihar four times. He has also been a minister at the Center along with the President of Janata Dal United (JDU). The health of the former minister was deteriorating and he was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Gurugram.

Fortis Hospital issued a statement

Fortis Memorial Research Institute issued a statement saying that Sharad Yadav was brought to Fortis emergency in an unconscious and unresponsive state. On examination, he had no pulse or recordable blood pressure. CPR was done on him under ACLS protocol. Despite best efforts, he could not be saved and was declared brought dead at 10.19 pm.

New party was formed after resigning from JDU in 2016

Sharad Yadav formed his party after resigning from JDU in the year 2016 and he formed a new party. After this he merged this party with Rashtriya Janata Dal. His daughter Subhashini is in Congress.
