Navratri, the festival of worship of Shakti, is starting from 26 September. Generally, the doors of most of the Puja pandals in the city will open on Shashthi Tithi i.e. October 1. Since Durgotsav is celebrated in a grand form in Ranchi. Thousands of people live on the streets day and night. Devotees from nearby districts also reach Mata Darshan. Therefore, like every year, this time too there is going to be a change in the traffic system of the city. The traffic police has prepared route charts and guidelines related to this.
From October 1 to October 5, the entry of heavy vehicles in the city will be completely closed from 8 am to 4 am the next morning for smooth traffic. Since there is an influx of devotees in the night, in view of this, private and passenger vehicles plying inside the city for the last five days of Navratri will be able to reach the designated place from 4 pm to 4 am the next morning. To go beyond that, people will have to park their car at the designated place and proceed on foot. That is, vehicles will have to be parked 200 to 500 meters away from the pandals and go on foot. Traffic personnel will also be deployed on the branch road of the city so that there is no jam situation.
Drop gates will be built at 52 places, 400 additional jawans will clear the route
