Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has decided to donate $7.7 billion i.e. Rs 60,000 crore for social work on the occasion of his 60th birthday. This money will be spent by the Adani Foundation. Significantly, Gautam Adani will turn 60 tomorrow i.e. on Friday, June 24, 2022. This year is also the centenary year of Shri Shantilal Adani, father of Gautam Adani.

Industrialist Gautam Adani issued a tweet today saying that this amount of donation will be spent by the Adani Foundation on the management of healthcare, education and promotion of skill development. He said that with this contribution, a strong India will be made to face the challenges of the future.
In a tweet issued by the Adani Group, it was said that for a self-reliant India, we have to focus more and more on health, education and skill development in rural areas. On the occasion of his 60th birthday, Gautam Adani said that he wants development of these areas.
