There is a good news for the devotees of Lord Shiva. The temple of Lord Mahakaleshwar, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas located in Ujjain, will be opened soon as before. Meanwhile, information has been received that the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee has decided that from December 6, the sanctum sanctorum of Shri Mahakaleshwar temple will be opened as before.

According to the report, the meeting of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee was held today under the chairmanship of Collector and Chairman of Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee Ashish Singh.

The Madhya Pradesh Public Relations Department told on Koo that ‘from December 6, the Shri Mahakaleshwar temple will be given in the sanctum sanctorum as before, the entry has been taken by the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee. ‘

After the meeting, information was received that, from December 6, the kind of entry system the devotees had in the sanctum sanctorum before the restrictions imposed in the Kovid epidemic. Accordingly, it has been decided to give admission.

Superintendent of Police Satyendra Kumar Shukla, Municipal Commissioner Anshul Gupta, ADM Santosh Tagore, committee administrator Ganesh Kumar Dhakad, committee members Pt. Ashish Pujari, Deepak Mittal, Vijayshankar Sharma and Pt. Pradeep Pujari were present in the meeting.

It was decided not to allow new photographers as the number of photographers currently allowed in Shri Mahakaleshwar temple is sufficient. A letter has been sent from the state government to allot a total amount of Rs 150.92 crore for land acquisition under Shri Mahakal Maharaj Mandir Extension Scheme. The said action was approved in the meeting.
