Google Photos Locked Feature: Tech companies nowadays are offering many facilities for the user, which helps in keeping their account confidential. Recently tech giant Google has made a new update in its Google Photos. Let us know that Google has launched this feature in the name of Locked Folder. This feature prevents private photos in the user gallery from being visible to any third person. This great Locked Folders feature was initially available only for Google Pixel users. However, it will soon be made available for other Android phones as well. In which other Android phones like Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus, Samsung will be available.
There is news that OnePlus and Samsung users are already getting this feature. Google announced this feature at its Google Input/Output event in May. It allows users to protect photos with locker folders that they don’t want others to see. If your friends view the photo gallery on your phone, you can save it as a photo in the Locker folder. You can also set a passcode on a photo with the Lock Folder feature introduced in Google Photos. This lets you hide photos or other apps on your phone while you scroll.
For this, smartphone users will first have to open Google Photos and click on the Library option for this feature. In it, click on Utilities and scroll down to see the Locker folder. On clicking it, you will be asked to set a PIN. Then select the photos you want to put in the Locker folder and move them in. Photos saved in this feature will not appear in the backup.
