Government staff engaged in preparations: PM Modi’s rally in Himachal on September 24, a pandal will be held in the paddal ground

Himachal’s government staff is busy preparing for the rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to be held on September 24. State Chief Secretary RD Dhiman and DGP Sanjay Kundu took stock of the preparations by reaching the paddal of Mandi on Wednesday. Chief Secretary RD Dhiman held a meeting with senior officials of the district administration.

During this, Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu was also present. The Chief Secretary instructed the officers to make all necessary arrangements from security to reception. Make adequate arrangements in such a way that the general public does not face any kind of inconvenience.

In the meeting, Director General of Police Sanjay Kundu gave necessary instructions regarding the security protocol. He asked to make proper arrangements regarding traffic plan and parking arrangement. DC Arindam Choudhary and Superintendent of Police Shalini Agnihotri apprised about the preparations of the district and police administration regarding the PM’s visit. Road map information was also given. Top officials of all the departments of the district were present in the meeting.

Taking stock of the preparations at Paddal Ground

The Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police inspected the arrangements by reaching Paddal, the venue of the public meeting and gave necessary directions to the officers. He was accompanied by the Chief Minister’s political advisor Trilok Jamwal.

Youth rally aims to bring 1 lakh youth

Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha is holding booth level meetings to mobilize crowd for PM’s rally. A target has been set to bring one lakh youth to the rally. For this the slogan “One Booth, 20 Youth” has been given. BJYM District Shimla President Parul said that there is tremendous enthusiasm among the youth due to PM’s rally. He claimed that for the first time in the country, PM will address the rally of youth.

Complete ban on drones, paragliding and UAV flying

While issuing the order, SDM Sadar Mandi Ritika Jindal has imposed a complete ban on drones, paragliding and UAV flying from 6 am to 7 pm on September 24 in Mandi city and surrounding area. In Mandi sub-division, there will be a complete ban on carrying arms, sticks, ammunition and swords, etc., of any person other than the security officers and employees engaged in law and order in the program of the Prime Minister.
