Himachal polls 2022: Preparations to strengthen Congress till booth level, one secretary posted for every district

Congress has started making its strategy for the upcoming assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh. Under this, the Congress high command has decided to give the command of every district of the state to a national secretary. These people will prepare the roadmap for the preparations for the elections. Let us tell you that out of the 12 national secretaries who look after the election preparations of the Congress, a third are from Priyanka Gandhi’s team. Sources believe that this time Priyanka Gandhi is paying special attention to the mission of Congress to return to power in Himachal.

The Congress on Saturday decided that AICC national secretaries would be posted in every district of the state to strengthen the organization ahead of the elections. The national secretaries include Deepika Pandey, Chandan Yadav, Rajesh Tiwari, Rohit Chaudhary, Dheeraj Gurjar, Pradeep Narwal, Vikas Upadhyay, Vijay Singla and Chetan Chauhan. He has been assigned the task only a few days after the conclusion of the Chintan Shivir in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

One of the leaders present in the meeting told ANI that it was a preliminary meeting. National secretaries have been asked to focus on booth level. It is also being planned to convene a meeting of the Congress Working Committee in Shimla in June.

Let us inform that recently the Congress leadership has reshuffled the organization in Himachal Pradesh. Pratibha Singh, wife of former Chief Minister Late Virbhadra Singh, has been made the state president. This time many leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party have also visited Himachal in view of the upcoming assembly elections.
