Khalistani slogans on the walls of Himachal Pradesh assembly building, high alert regarding security at state borders, police ordered to keep vigil at night

Khalistan flags and slogans were seen on the gates and walls of the assembly in Himachal Pradesh today. The opposition is attacking the BJP government of the state regarding this. Police suspects tourists from Punjab. Provocative slogans were found outside the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha building this morning. In this a call for a ‘Khalistan’ referendum of a banned group was given. After this, security has been increased in this hilly state from tonight. Inter-state borders have been sealed and strict vigil has been ordered for hotels and other commercial accommodations. There is a high alert regarding the security at the borders of the state. The police have been ordered to keep surveillance at night.

Banned organization Sikh for Justice (SFJ) announced that it will hold a ‘Khalistan’ referendum in Himachal Pradesh on June 6.

Flags of ‘Khalistan’ were found on the gates and boundary wall of Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly in Dharamsala this morning. Pictures in support of Khalistan were also made on the walls of the building. After this, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur ordered an inquiry this morning.
