Upcoming Honda Electric Scooter: As vehicle manufacturers are continuously entering the Indian electric vehicle market, it is reported that Honda2Wheelers is working on an electric two wheeler for the Indian market. Which will compete with Ola, Bajaj Chrtak, Tvs iQube etc. in the Indian market.
Testing of BENLY e electric scooter begins
At present, the company has not said much about the upcoming electric scooter in India. However, people associated with the development project of this electric scooter of Honda say that the company has started testing the BENLY e electric scooter in the Automotive Research Association of India. According to a media report the company is currently evaluating the market for electric two-wheelers and customers “will be able to see HMSI EV products within the next financial year”.
Developed by Honda Motor, the Benly e scooter was introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show 2019. However, we are yet to confirm whether this will indeed become the company’s first e-scooter. When the BENLY e two-wheeler was launched, the company had stated that the scooter is designed for commercial use. So, maybe Honda will bring another EV to India.

Ola Electric recently launched its first Ola scooter in the EV market. The electric scooter has garnered a record-breaking 100,000 bookings within the first 24 hours. Due to which it has become the highest booking pre-booked scooter in the world. Ola Electric started booking for its electric scooter on the evening of July 15. The delivery of this electric scooter will start from October 2021. The starting price of which has been fixed at Rs 99,999.
