House collapsed due to rain in Rajasthan, Alert in 13 districts: Rain in Jaipur for 4 hours; 5 degree drop

Due to the re-activated monsoon in Rajasthan, today it is raining in many districts of East Rajasthan including Jaipur. In many districts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota divisions, there has been a dense cloud since this morning. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, this round of rain can continue for the next three days. At the same time, the bar which started in the morning in Jaipur continued till evening intermittently. Jaipur received a total of 2 inches of rain from 2 o’clock in the day to evening. Which is the highest in the month of September as compared to the last 10 years.

The Meteorological Center has also issued an alert for 13 districts. A house collapsed in Sawai Madhopur today due to heavy rain. Three people were injured in this accident. At the same time, the possibility of damage to the finished Kharif crop has increased due to the changed weather. According to meteorologists, due to the system coming from the Bay of Bengal, the period of heavy rains has started again in Rajasthan.

If you look at the report received from the Meteorological Center Jaipur, in the last 24 hours, Kotkasim in Alwar recorded the highest rainfall of 118 mm (4.64 inches). Apart from this, Bansur, Govindgarh, Ramgarh, Tapukra also received more than 50 mm of rain. There was heavy rain at many places in Bharatpur, Dausa, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Kota, Jhalawar, Bundi, Baran.

Water was flooded at many places on Tonk Road near Durgapura Elevated Road in Jaipur.

Temperature dropped by 5 degrees Celsius below normal

The rain started in the city of Jaipur after a dense cloud cover in the early hours of today. At 7 am, light to moderate rain in many parts inundated the roads. Light rain is falling in all parts including Sanganer, Tonk Road, Malviya Nagar, Mansarovar, Sirsi, Ajmer Road, Jhotwara since this morning.

Apart from these, there was heavy rain in many places in rural parts as well. It rained from 2 to 3 inches in Pavta, Jamvaramgarh. Due to rain, the temperature in Jaipur dropped, the day’s maximum temperature was recorded at 29.8 degrees Celsius yesterday, which was 5 degrees Celsius below normal. Due to this people felt a slight coolness during the day and night.

This is the second time in the last 10 years, when the maximum rain in September

It started raining in Jaipur at around 7 am. Which was recorded 5 mm till 11 o’clock. After this the rain which started after around 2 pm continued till late evening. During this, a total of 51.2 mm of water rained. If you look at the report of the last 10 years, this is the second time. When it rained 2 inches in September. Earlier on 24 September 2016, there was 58.7MM of rain.

In Alwar also, it is raining for two days.  Here the wheat kept in the open in the grain market is getting wet.

Due to the rain in Sawai Madhopur, a kutcha house in the Kachi Basti located in Chainpura collapsed after being flooded. 3 people of the same family were injured in this accident. The relatives of the injured, Panmal Mahawar, said that the accident took place at around 9.30 in the morning. Due to this, his father Rambabu son Bhanwar Lal Mahawar and sister Rekha were injured inside the house. His niece Avani Mahawar has suffered minor injuries.

The victim's family says that the accident happened due to the weakening of the roof due to incessant rain.

More than one inch of rain fell in these districts

During the last 24 hours, more than an inch of rain occurred in many areas of Ajmer, Alwar, Baran, Bundi, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Kota, Pali, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar and Tonk districts. In many parts of Baran, Bundi, Jhalawar, it rained up to 3 inches.

Markets were flooded with water due to rain in Bhiwadi.  Roads became rivers.  The two-wheeler stopped in the middle of the road after being submerged in water.

Market, effect on moong crops
Presently the Kharif crop is ready for ripening. There has been an increase in the risk of damage to the crops of bajra, moong, jowar in the fields. According to agricultural experts, due to rain for one and a half or 2 inches, standing crops will start rotting, which causes damage and the grain also starts turning black. In many places, crops have started harvesting in the fields, which will be damaged even by light rain. Due to rain, moong beans get wet after drying and burst and the grain is scattered.

Water filled the broken roads after rain in Pratap Nagar Sector-7 of Jaipur.  Nearby areas including Jaipur have been raining since morning.

It will rain till 26 September

There is a possibility of lightning with rain in 13 districts of Rajasthan tomorrow. These include Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Dausa, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Sikar, Tonk, Churu, Hanumangarh and Nagaur. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain at isolated places in Alwar, Jhunjhunu, Sikar on September 25. On September 26, there is a possibility of light rain in Alwar, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Sikar.

Due to continuous rain for two days in Barodamev town of Govindgarh, the grain market was flooded.  Due to which the traders have decided to remain closed for the next two days.
