New Delhi, Auto Desk. The demand for high speed scooters is increasing in the Indian market. Two-wheeler manufacturers have also made a lot of changes in the look of their scooters. Big companies like Yamaha are working on high speed scooters and bold looking scooters. There are many great speed scooters of Yamaha in the market, which give competition to even 150 cc bikes. Keeway, a Hungarian brand that makes such scooters and bikes, which is owned by Chinese company QJ Group, is about to enter India. This is the same company that also owns the Italian marquee Benelli. Keyway is popular for its small-capacity Harley-Davidson-inspired cruiser scooters and off-road bikes, which are mostly powered by a 125cc engine.

According to the information, vehicle manufacturer Keeway is going to enter India with the launch of scooter in Mumbai on May 17. However, Keeway has not yet given any official information about the launch of the two-wheeler in India. However, it is rumored in the market that the company may launch cruiser scooters K-Lite and GT270 as maxi-scooters.

Keeway 280cc Maxi Scooter

The Keeway GT270 is powered by a 278.2cc engine sourced from Piaggio. It is a single-cylinder mill that is capable of producing 19 bhp power at 6500 rpm and 22.5 mn of torque at 6000 rpm. It comes with fuel injection, liquid cooling and is mated to a CVT transmission.

What will be special in these two scooters?

Suspension duty on the GT270 is handled by a premium KYB suspension unit at the front and rear. The front has a 35mm telescopic unit, while the rear gets twin shock absorbers. It gets disc brakes at both the front and rear. The front gets a 240 mm disc, while the rear gets a 220 mm disc.
