New Delhi, Auto Desk. South Korea’s leading automaker Hyundai has launched its new 5 and 7 seater SUV Alcazar in India to compete with cars like Tata Safari and MG Hector. Hyundai Motor India has introduced a new addition to the secretive Alcazar SUV lineup, which comes in a seven-seater petrol variant with Signature (O) automatic transmission. The new variant is positioned as the top-of-the-line model with a price tag of ₹24.96 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
No official information has come from the company about this, but reportedly the new variant has already gone on sale in the country. The Hyundai Alcazar Signature (O) seven-seater AT petrol variant uses a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that can generate maximum power of 159 bhp and peak torque of 192 Nm.
The new edition comes with all the features that Hyundai offers in its Signature (O) trim line up such as 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, side foot steps, digital instrument cluster, 10.25 with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. -inch touchscreen infotainment system. Support, 360-degree parking camera, leather upholstery, wireless phone charging and ventilated seats.
Other features include a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, paddle shifters, traction control modes – Snow, Sand, Mud and drive modes – Comfort, Eco, Sport. The new variant also gets air purifier, electric parking brake, Bose premium audio system, powered driver seat and blind view monitor.
The Alcazar SUV is also offered with a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo diesel engine capable of producing 115 bhp of maximum power and 250 Nm of peak torque with the option of both a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission. Is. While the petrol engine is claimed to give a mileage of 14.5 kmpl in the manual gearbox, the automatic gearbox is claimed to give a mileage of 14.2 kmpl. The diesel engine gives mileage of 20.4kmpl in manual and 18.1kmpl in automatic transmission.
