Ajay Mishra said, ‘The photographer I hired, he cheated. I was cheated by the one I believed in, what can I do in this.’
In the survey case of Gyanvapi Masjid, Varanasi court has removed Advocate Commissioner Ajay Mishra. This step has been taken after questions were raised on the fairness of Mishra. Along with this, the court has also given two days’ time to the remaining two commissioners to file the report. Special commissioners Vishal Singh and Ajay Pratap Singh will now complete the survey report and file the report in two days. The court found that Ajay Mishra had hired a private videographer for the survey of the Gyanvapi Masjid, he was constantly speaking in the media on the issues related to the case. After this it was decided to relieve Mishra.
Reacting to his removal, Ajay Mishra said, ‘The photographer I hired cheated me. I was cheated by the one I believed in, what can I do about it.’ He said, ‘I haven’t seen the order yet. Heard from you guys. I have to know, have to see. On being told the reason for the removal, Singh said that Mishra admitted that this action has been taken on the complaint of Vishal Singh. He did not expect such a thing from Vishal Singh. I was removed on his (Vishal’s) complaint.
He further said, ‘The court thought it appropriate, it did. Whatever Vishal ji did, his heart will know. He said, ‘I am satisfied with the survey.’ Mishra said, ‘I have not done any wrong. Vishal Singh took advantage of my straightforwardness. We made the report together by 12 o’clock last night. I had no idea that Vishal Singh is conspiring against me. I did not do any favouritism.’
