New Delhi, ANI. A meeting of party leaders is being held at 10 Janpath, the residence of Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi, ahead of the commencement of the winter session of Parliament. In the meeting, the leaders of the party’s Parliamentary Strategy Group are discussing the winter session. Congress leaders AK Antony, Anand Sharma, Mallikarjun Kharge, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, KC Venugopal, K Suresh, Ravneet Bittu, and Jairam Ramesh and many other leaders are involved in this meeting.

It is believed that the issues to be raised in the winter session of Parliament starting from November 29 will be discussed today. Earlier, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal told news agency ANI that we will raise the issue of inflation in the upcoming session of Parliament. To take on the BJP-led central government, the Congress is planning to vigorously raise issues of ‘Covid mismanagement’ in public forums and in the upcoming winter session of Parliament.

According to party sources, the Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states will write a letter to the Center demanding compensation to the Kovid victims. Along with this, Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leaders of each state will also write letters to their respective chief ministers of the state where Congress is not in power, he said.

Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi has started ‘Kovid Nyay Abhiyan’ by posting a video on his social media account regarding the families who lost their lives due to Corona. Rahul Gandhi has urged the Government of India to provide accurate figures of deaths related to Kovid in the country and a compensation of Rs 4 lakh.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted in English and said that the Congress party has two demands – correct figures of corona dead should be given and compensation of Rs 4 lakh should be given to those families who have lost their loved ones.
