ISLAMABAD, AGENCY. Imran Khan came down heavily on commenting on Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. While addressing a rally in Multan, Imran crossed all limits of dignity. Referring to a rally of Maryam, Khan said, “For the spirit and passion with which Maryam took my name at the Sargodha rally, I would like to tell her that Maryam, be a little careful, the way you are taking my name, it will affect you. Husband may be upset’.

Nawaz’s statement is being criticized

Now his statement is getting a lot of criticism in Pakistan. At the same time, his uncle and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Twitter that the whole country should be condemned, especially women, for the use of derogatory language against the country’s daughter Maryam. On the other hand, the former President of PML-N strongly condemned Khan’s statement. Apart from this, the co-president of PPP said that in the name of politics, please do not stoop so low. At the same time, the Pakistani Human Rights Commission reprimanded Imran and said that he should apologize not only to Maryam but to every woman in the society.

Shameful who was associated with this man: Reham Khan

Imran Khan’s ex-wife and journalist Reham Khan wrote on Twitter that I am extremely ashamed that I was ever associated with such a bad man. He praised the humility of Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and condemned the “indecency of a 70-year-old man”. Reham Khan said that he neither respects the women of his house nor the house of others. Pakistani journalist Adil Shahzeb wrote that it is a matter of shame for Imran Khan to speak such words to a female politician.
