PM Narendra Modi on Saturday participated in the rally of National Cadet Corps (NCC) on the occasion of 75th Raising Day of NCC at Cariappa Maidan in Delhi. Along with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and CDS Anil Chouhan among others, PM Modi unveiled the Special Day Cover and a commemorative coin of Rs 75 denomination to mark the completion of 75 years of NCC. 196 officers and cadets from 19 foreign countries participated in the hybrid day and night event, which also featured various cultural programs on the theme of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’. Apart from this, PM Modi also distributed trophies.
Speaking on the 75th anniversary of NCC, PM Modi lauded the cadets who have contributed to nation building. PM Modi said, “We will always remember this event as it resonates with the mantra of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’. Therefore, I congratulate the organizer and all those involved in making it an even bigger success.”

Encouraging the NCC cadets, he said; “It is time for new opportunities for the youth of India. Everyone is talking about India, saying ‘India’s time has come’.
