New Delhi, Online Desk. Former Indian captain and star batsman Virat Kohli is constantly in search of big scores in all three formats of cricket. Currently, Virat Kohli is on a tour of England with the main Indian team, where first Team India has to play a Test match against England. After this, three-match ODI and T20 series will be played. India has to play a Test match against England from July 1, which is the last match of the five-match Test series played last year. Last year, under the captaincy of Kohli, four matches of this Test series were played in which Team India was ahead 2-1. Now under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, Team India has to play this test match, while the captaincy of England team will be in the hands of Ben Stokes.

Virat Kohli has been going through a bad phase for some time and his performance in IPL 2022 too was not very good and he scored 341 runs in 16 innings at an average of 22.73. On the other hand, Joe Root, one of Virat Kohli’s rivals, recently scored 305 runs in four innings of the three-match Test series against New Zealand at an impressive average of 101.67. Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma believes that Kohli must be thinking about his rivalry with Joe Root off the field. However, once the match starts, Virat Kohli will just focus on his game.

Rajkumar Sharma while talking with a news channel said that both Virat Kohli and Joe Root are great players. A healthy rivalry is always on the mind, and of course you are in the hotel, in the dressing room, you must think about it. On the other hand, when you go on the field, then you think of scoring runs, then the route or anything else that comes to your mind does not come to mind. He further added that at present it is necessary for Virat to play his natural game and score big, which he has been looking for for a long time. I sincerely hope he will do so soon as it has been a long time.

Rajkumar Sharma further said that there has never been such a long time in Virat Kohli’s entire cricket career when he has not been able to reach the three-figure mark. He has definitely scored runs and earlier his conversion rate was amazing when he used to reach 30-35 runs. Everyone believed that he would score big, definitely score a century, but it has not happened recently.
