IND vs NZ 2nd ODI: The second ODI match is being played between India and New Zealand at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. The entire New Zealand team was reduced to 108 runs. The start of the New Zealand team was very poor. The Indian bowlers had sent half the Kiwi team to the pavilion for just 15 runs while performing brilliantly.

Indian fast bowlers Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur showed excellent bowling, showing the way back to half the New Zealand team for just 15 runs. However, Captain Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya were not very happy seeing Siraj’s fielding. This incident happened in the second ball of the 16th over when Hardik Pandya was bowling to Glenn Phillips. Pandya bowled a length ball which was hit by Phillips at mid-on. Siraj was fielding and to save time, he tried to stop the ball by sliding it down.

However, Siraj failed to stop the ball with his leg and conceded two runs. Seeing this fielding of Siraj, Captain Rohit Sharma looked disappointed and Pandya was seen giving a sarcastic smile while hiding his anger.

Shami dismissed openers Finn Allen, Daryl Mitchell and Michael Bracewell for 0, 1 and 22 respectively. Siraj took the wicket of Henry Nicholls after scoring 2 runs off 29 balls. Pandya dismissed Dwayne Conway and Mitchell Santner for 7 and 27, while Shardul Thakur got the wicket of Tom Latham. Team India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to field first at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur. Raipur is hosting international cricket for the first time.

The entire New Zealand team was dismissed for 108 runs. None of the top-order batsmen could even touch double figures.
