Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan on Thursday wrote a letter to the states and union territories and asked them to follow all the precautions and rules of Kovid. Bhushan also advised the government to follow a ‘five-point strategy’.

According to sources, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will hold a meeting with health experts today amid increasing cases of Covid. On June 13, Mandaviya chaired a meeting through video conferencing with health ministers and senior officials of states and union territories to review the vaccination exercise Har Ghar Dastak 2.0 campaign.

On the increasing cases of corona in some districts and states and the decline in testing, Mandaviya said that the spread of corona infection can be reduced by timely testing. On the other hand, Mandaviya said that there is a need to test, track, treat, vaccinate and follow the appropriate behavior of Kovid to stop the new mutants.
