Some industries have even rented vacant lands or godowns along with factories, so that there is no shortage in production during the festive season. The state’s industry has so far launched goods worth more than 25 thousand crores in the market. More than 90 thousand crore business is expected in this festive season which runs till the new year. This target is more than the total of the last two years. Industry experts say that if the situation remains normal like this, the business can exceed this target.
Handloom: Expected business of 4 thousand crores till Diwali
Handloom business is done in Panipat. Goods worth 12 thousand crores are ready here. By Diwali itself, a business of more than 4 thousand crores is expected. For this, labor is being recruited rapidly in factories. Work is being done day and night in open spaces inside and outside the factories. There is more business from abroad than from local. In winter, the work of blankets etc. will also speed up. Vinod Khandelwal, head of Panipat chapter of Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industries said that the high cost of raw material is having an effect. Container rates have increased by 400 per cent, which is causing problems.
Automobiles: Waiting of vehicles, goods worth 50 thousand crores ready
There are automobile industries in Gurgaon and Faridabad. There are more than 23 thousand small and big units here. In the last two years, Corona had a big impact on this sector, but this time this sector is preparing to do maximum business in the festive season. Vehicles and other parts etc. worth about 50 thousand crores are ready. 80% of the goods have already reached the market. However, due to non-import of semi-conduction, full production is not taking place and due to this, booking of cars and two-wheelers is going on in advance. Pawan Yadav, president of Manesar Industrial Association, said that there is hope of getting relief from the agreement with Taiwan. Cars are in great demand till the new year. This time the business is expected to be better than the last two years.
