New Delhi (JNN). Today one more chapter will be added to the fleet of the Indian Navy. INS Vela Submarine will join the Indian Navy today. With this, the strength of the Indian Navy will increase even more. Through this, the enemy can be closely monitored. Apart from this, the firepower of the Indian Navy will also increase. Let us tell you that this is a Scorpion class submarine which is part of Project 75. The Indian Navy has also made a tweet about it.

Navy has written in its tweet that it has been made under self-reliant India and it is the result of a teamwork and technology. This is the fourth submarine in Mazagon Post Limited to be inducted into the Indian Navy on 25 November 2021.

This submarine will be handed over to the Indian Navy in Mumbai today. This is a diesel electric Scorpion submarine, which is the fourth submarine under Project 75. Earlier, INS Kalveri, INS Karanj and INS Khanderi have been handed over to the Indian Navy. The help of France is also being taken in the work of making submarines for the Indian Navy. With the cooperation of both, about six submarines are being constructed in Mazagon Dak.
