As a result of the action initiated by the National Investigation Agency against the Dawood gang, the investigating agencies have started functioning. In this sequence, the investigating agency has arrested two members of the gang, who are said to be close to gangster Chhota Shakil. The arrested members have been identified as Arif Abubakar Shaikh (59) and Shabbir Abubakar Shaikh.
A senior NIA official said that the arrested members were operating the illegal activities of D-Company. Also financing terrorism in the western suburbs of Mumbai.

According to the official, the arrested accused can be produced in the special court of NIA on Friday. Let us inform that earlier this week, NIA had raided 24 places in Mumbai Commissionerate and five places in Mira Road Bhayandar Commissionerate.
