In IPL 2021 Phase-2, today the second qualifier match of the tournament will be played between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders at Sharjah ground. In this match the winning team will play against Chennai Super Kings in the final while the losing team’s journey will end there. Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik can be included as wicketkeepers for this match. Pant had scored 51 runs against CSK in Qualifier 1 and has so far scored a total of 413 runs in the tournament with a strike rate of 129.06. Hetmyer has made a decent comeback to form in the last few innings. Shimron Hetmyer is known for hitting big shots and can take Delhi to big scores by scoring quick runs in the death overs. His strike rate in IPL is 150.60. Rahul Tripathi can get the points from KKR. Tripathi has been KKR’s most successful batsman so far this season. He has scored 383 runs in 14 matches.
Sunil Narine and Axar Patel can be made a part of Fantasy 11 as all-rounders in this match. Naren had a big hand in getting KKR a ticket for Qualifier 2. Against RCB, he showed tremendous game with both ball and bat. Sunil has so far taken 14 wickets this season and his strike rate in batting has been 136.36. Against Delhi too, he has taken 19 wickets including 124 runs in 9 innings.
Axar Patel can be selected for Delhi. Patel has proved to be a very stingy bowler in IPL 2021. In 11 matches, Akshar has spent runs with an economy of 6.52 and has taken a total of 15 wickets. His performance with the bat has not been anything special, but he is a master of hitting big shots and scoring runs fast and has the ability to change the match.
Enrique Nortya, Avesh Khan, Varun Chakraborty and Lockie Ferguson can be picked in the bowling department. Nortya has impressed everyone with his speed and strong bowling. He has taken 10 wickets in 7 matches of the tournament. Avesh’s name is also running second in the purple cap race. In 15 matches, Avesh has taken 23 wickets at an average of 18.61. If we talk about KKR’s Varun Chakraborty, then his bowling still remains a mystery for the batsmen. He has 16 wickets in 15 matches.
