New Delhi, Online Desk. In the 67th match of IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans batsman Matthew Wade could not play a good innings and scored 16 runs in just 13 balls with the help of one six and two fours and was declared leg before Maxwell’s ball. Wade was given out wrongly, due to which he was very angry. Even from the ultra edge, it was not known that the ball had hit his bat. The incident took place in the sixth over of the first innings and was bowled by Maxwell.

Maxwell’s second ball of this over was bowled outside the off-stump, on which Wade tried to play a sweep shot, but the ball did not connect with his bat and hit his pad. After this the players appealed and the umpire declared Wade out. Wade then immediately took the DRS, but the umpire’s decision was upheld and he had to return to the pavilion. Although Wade indicated that the ball hit the bat before it hit his pads, it was not clear at the ultra edge as well.

Matthew Wade looked very disappointed after being dismissed like this and former RCB captain Virat Kohli sympathized with him and interacted with him on his way to the dressing room. Wade returned to the dressing room disappointed, but he vented his anger there. As soon as he entered the dressing room, he first threw his helmet and also hit his bat several times on his kit bat. After this decision with Wade, once again the question of technique arose, due to which this batsman had to bear the brunt. At the same time, in this match against RCB, Gujarat scored 168 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs.
