Shashank Singh of Sunrisers Hyderabad surprised everyone by taking a brilliant catch on the boundary in the IPL 2022 match being played against Kolkata Knight Riders on Saturday. In this match being played at the Maharashtra Association Stadium in Pune, Shashank got the catch of Ajinkya Rahane when he was batting on 28 runs. Rahane was batting cautiously against SRH after the first two wickets fell. This match is a do or die match for KKR and hence he was trying to give his team a better start. Rahane was hunted by fast bowler Umran Malik, coming from Jammu and Kashmir, on his last ball of the 8th over. Rahane scored 28 runs in 24, including 3 sixes.

Malik, who had already taken a wicket, bowled a shot to Rahane offside, in which the KKR batsman played a fine cut shot and it looked like the ball would go over the boundary. However, Shashank Singh ran towards the ball at the last minute and won the hearts of the audience by taking a brilliant catch.

Earlier, KKR won the toss and decided to bat first. For this match, Kolkata made two major changes in its playing 11.
