Jasan, Jamshedpur : The Ghatshila College of Kolhan University, which got A grade from NAAC, has now moved towards A+ grade. Efforts for this have already been intensified. The new campus of this college will be built at the hostel location at Fuldungri. The lease of the land of this hostel expired in the year 2006. Now the request for either renewal of this land or permanently in the name of Ghatshila College has been made by the college management from the sub-divisional officer. It is expected that work in this direction will start after the elections.

Here 9 acres 30 decimil land is in the name of Ghatshila College. Work is also being done to make it completely safe. The blueprint for overall development of Ghatshila College as a whole has been prepared by the current Principal Dr. RK Chaudhary. After the Panchayat elections are over, the implementation of the steps taken in this direction will be visible.

The college will have its own playground in the new campus

The new campus to be constructed in the hostel will have an attractive main gate. The boundary wall will be constructed. 100 beds, tables, chairs will also be arranged for the new hostel. It will mainly consist of construction of playgrounds. Till now the college did not have its own playground. Football, basketball and volleyball grounds will be built in this campus. For this correspondence has been done with the departmental officers.

Auditorium will be built in the college, 1000 students will be able to sit

A new auditorium is going to be built in the educational campus of the existing Ghatshila College located on College Road, Ghatshila. It will have seating arrangement for 1000 students. The building construction committee of the college has started discussions on this. A new science block is also to be constructed here. The college gate will be given a new look. For this, MLA Ramdas Soren has assured full cooperation. A state-of-the-art science building of G+3 and a new administrative building will also be built in the science block itself.
