Jacqueline Fernandez has filed a petition in Delhi’s Patiala High Court seeking permission to go abroad. During the hearing in the matter in the court, the Enforcement Directorate asked for time to give its reply, after which the court gave two days to the ED. Jacqueline had said in the petition that from January 27 to 31, she has to go to Dubai to attend the PepsiCo India conference. He has also received an invitation for this.

The matter will be taken up for hearing on January 27 by Additional Sessions Judge Shailendra Malik. Jacqueline was exempted from personal appearance from today’s hearing. In place of the actress, her lawyer appeared in the court. The court fixed February 15 for another hearing related to money laundering.

Last month, Jacqueline had sought permission to go abroad to meet her ailing mother and family, but the court said the case was at a critical juncture. After which the actress withdrew her appeal.

Jacqueline is the main witness in the 200 crore money laundering case of conman Sukesh Chandrashekar. Sukesh has been accused of extorting money from several politicians, celebrities and businessmen. Due to this, Jacqueline is being summoned repeatedly by the ED for some time now. Along with this, he has also been questioned many times. Though the court granted him regular bail in November, he has been barred from leaving the country without permission. While Jacqueline says that Sukesh has misled her and her entire life and career is ruined.
