New Delhi, Jnn. Jayeshbhai Jordaar Box Office Collection Day 1: Ranveer Singh’s ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ has been released in theatres. Ranveer Singh is the most expensive and highest-paid star of Hindi cinema in the brand market. The mere presence of them guarantees the film to be a hit, but it does not necessarily happen every time. At least it looks like this after seeing the earnings of ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ on the first day. It can remain at number one among Ranveer Singh’s worst opening films.

During the promotion of ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ Ranveer Singh himself told that he started crying when director Divyang Thakkar told him the story of the film. He immediately said yes to a role for the first time. But it seems that the director could not get his story on screen properly. As a result, the audience did not like the film anything special. Ranveer’s previous film 84 was successful in earning 12.68 crores on the first day despite the restrictions. But ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, performing quite disappointingly, could only do business of 4.10 crores at the box office on the first day.

The film, made under the banner of Yash Raj Films, was released in theaters on 13 May. It was released in 2250 screens across the country. It was expected that it would do some big bang at the box office, but it did not happen. However, considering the advance booking of the film, it was already guessed that it would be tempted. Also, mixed reviews poured cold water on the audience’s desire to watch the film.

Let us tell you that the opening of this film, made and released at a cost of about 60 crores, is not even 10 percent of its cost. It is generally believed that if the opening of a film is close to 20 percent of its total cost (including making and promotion), then that film can recover its cost in the first week. So at the same time a film with an opening of 10 percent is considered average. Now you can guess for yourself that a film that earns less than 10 percent has a strong chance of flopping.

If it is said that ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ can be one of the most flop films of Ranveer Singh, then it will not be wrong. Because his two superflop films ‘Kill Dil’ and ‘Lootera’, which earned less than 10 crores on the first day, also got the opening of 6.53 crores and 5.15 crores. But at the same time let us also tell that these are 8, 9 years old films, their earnings cannot be compared with today’s film.
