Story of origin of Kaal Bhairav ​​Dev

According to religious legend, once the gods asked Brahma Dev and Vishnu ji – O creator and sustainer of the world, please tell who is the best in the universe? Due to this question of the gods, there was a competition between Brahma and Vishnu to prove themselves superior. After this all the deities, including Brahma and Vishnu reached Kailash and asked this question to Lord Bholenath – O God of gods, Mahadev! You tell me – who is the best in the universe?

On this question of the deities, immediately a flame came out from the radiant and radiant body of Lord Shiva, which was moving in the direction of Nabha and Hades. Then Mahadev said to Brahma and Vishnu ji – The first of you both will reach the end of this light. There, it is the best. After this Brahma and Vishnu set out to reach the end of the eternal flame.

Lord Shiva took the form of Kaal Bhairav

After some time, when Brahma and Vishnu returned, Shiva asked them – O God! Have you got the finish? On this Vishnu said – O Mahadev, this light is infinite, it has no end. Whereas Brahma ji lied. He said- I had reached the end. Knowing this, Shiva declared Vishnu as the best. Due to this Brahma ji got angry, and started using derogatory words towards Shiva.

Hearing this, Lord Shiva got angry and from his anger, Kaal Bhairav ​​was born, who severed one of the faces of Brahma ji. At that time Brahma ji realized his mistake and immediately apologized to Lord Shiva. After this, the chants of Kaal Bhairav ​​Dev started on Mount Kailash.
