Kalashtami Vrat 2022: Today i.e. on 22nd May, the devotees of Bhairav Baba are fasting for Kalashtami. This fast is observed every month on the eighth day of Krishna Paksha. It is dedicated to Lord Bhairavnath. On this day, devotees worship him with full rituals. Some people do meditation at home and many go to their temple. Religious belief is that Bhairavnath originated from the anger of Lord Shiva. He is also known as Kotwal of Kashi.
