Kangana Ranaut Emergency: Kangana Ranaut has recently completed the shooting of the film ‘Emergency’ after which she threw a big party. She has not only directed the film, but is also playing the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in it. On this occasion, he also reacted to the media reports of mortgaging all his property for the film.
Actually, the Queen actress had informed about completing the shooting of the film on January 21 and said that she had to face many challenges for this. From shooting in difficult locations to mortgaging all their assets to make the film, the project was not easy to complete.
Kangana Ranaut mortgaged her property for ‘Emergency’
Talking to the media, the Panga fame actress said- “I stick to the work I decide to do. This is not a big deal for me. I take any decision in a minute but it was too much for me to go around the banks at the time of shooting, do evaluation, then our shooting was also stopped. It was a bit tiring for me but putting anything at stake is not a big decision for me.”
The ‘Manikarnika’ star recalls her initial days in Bollywood and says she can start again even after losing all her wealth.
According to her, “I came to this city with Rs 500 and if I am completely ruined again, I can stand completely again. I have so much confidence and so much courage. No property matters that much to me.”
When will ‘Emergency’ release?
The film is scheduled to release in theaters on 20 October 2023. In the film, Anupam Kher will play the role of late Jayaprakash Narayan, best known for leading the opposition against Indira Gandhi in the 1970s. While Mahima Chowdhary will be seen in the role of Pupul Jayakar who was Indira Gandhi’s friend and confidant. The film will also feature Vishak Nair, Satish Kaushik, Milind Soman and Shreyas Talpade.
