Rapper Kanye West’s Twitter account has been suspended after he posted a picture of a swastika mixed with the ‘Star of David’ (a symbol of Judaism). Twitter’s new CEO Elon Musk confirmed the suspension of West’s account in a tweet. Musk tweeted, “I tried my best. Yet he again violated our rule against inciting violence. Account will be suspended.”

The company said on Thursday that the 45-year-old rapper is also not buying the right-wing social media site Parlour. He had offered to buy the parlor in October. At the time, Parliament Technologies, which owns Rapper and Parlor, said the acquisition would be completed in the last three months of the year. The sale price and other details were not disclosed.

West has made a string of antisemitic comments in recent weeks, including praising Hitler in an interview on Thursday. His comments led to him being suspended from the social media platform, being dropped by his talent management agency and companies like Adidas cutting ties with him. Adidas has also launched an investigation into his conduct.
