Former Indian captain Kapil Dev, who won India’s first Cricket World Cup, is worried about the form of Team India’s current captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. The 63-year-old veteran all-rounder has expressed concern over the batting of Sharma-Kohli on the lean pitches of England.

The Indian team’s tour of England is starting from July 1. There the team has to play one Test, three T20s and three ODIs. The limited over series between India and England will start with the first T20 to be played on 7 July. This will be followed by the next two matches on 9 and 10 July. After the T20 series, the first ODI will be played on 12 July. The other two matches of the ODI series will be played on July 14 and 17.

Kapil paaji said – either playing more cricket or less
Kapil said that I believe that Rohit and Virat have to focus on their way of thinking if they want to return to form. The former captain said that if you are not able to score runs then there will be a problem somewhere.

I think both should focus on their way of thinking. I will be happy if they both prove my claims wrong. If you are not scoring runs then there is definitely some problem or you are playing more cricket or less.

Both the batsmen are not in form
Both these Indian batsmen are not in form yet. Talking about Kohli, his bat has been waiting to wave in the air for the last two and a half years. Whereas Rohit Sharma has not been able to do anything special in IPL. Talking about the overall career of both, Kohli has scored 70 centuries in international cricket from 2009 to 2019. While Rohit has 41 centuries to his name.

Even in the warm-up match, both could not do much.
Both the Indian batsmen could not perform much in the first innings of the ongoing warm-up match in England. In this, Kohli got out after scoring 33 and Rohit 25.
