What’s the matter?

In fact, on Wednesday, a video of former Congress MP VS Ugrappa and media coordinator Salim surfaced, in which allegations of serious corruption were leveled against Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar. Salim alleged that “DKS has increased the percentage of ‘cut-money’ to 12%, even the associates of DKS have earned Rs 50-100 crore.”

In the video, Salim is seen whispering in the ear of former MP Ugrappa, ‘Earlier the commission was 6-8%, but after DK Shivakumar’s arrival they increased it to 12%. DK Shivakumar’s associates (Mulgund) have earned around 50-100 crores. Mulgund has earned 50 to 100 crores. Imagine if when Mulgund has so much, then how much will DK Shivakumar have?’ In the video, Ugrappa is heard saying that the party under Shivakumar’s leadership has failed to make a comeback. After the video went viral, the Congress’s KPCC disciplinary committee on Wednesday suspended Salim for six years, while Ugrappa’s reply has been sought.
