The BJP has made this attack on the suspension of Congress’s media co-ordinator Salim after the viral video about Shivakumar. Karnataka BJP tweeted, ‘What is the use of suspending Salim? What he said was true. Tax firms have been attacked in the past as well. BJP wrote in another tweet, “Disciplinary action of Congress is on minority. Is DK Shivakumar afraid of taking action against Ugrappa, the ‘hero of Siddaramaiah’s play?’ With this, BJP has demanded the resignation of DK Shivakumar.
What’s the matter?
In fact, on Wednesday, a video of former Congress MP VS Ugrappa and media coordinator Salim surfaced, in which allegations of serious corruption were leveled against Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar. Salim alleged that “DKS has increased the percentage of ‘cut-money’ to 12%, even the associates of DKS have earned Rs 50-100 crore.”

In the video, Salim is seen whispering in the ear of former MP Ugrappa, ‘Earlier the commission was 6-8%, but after DK Shivakumar’s arrival they increased it to 12%. Imagine if when Mulgund has so much, then how much will DK Shivakumar have?’ In the video, Ugrappa is heard saying that the party under Shivakumar’s leadership has failed to make a comeback. After the video went viral, the Congress’s KPCC disciplinary committee on Wednesday suspended Salim for six years, while Ugrappa’s reply has been sought.
