The Bill to repeal three agricultural laws has been approved by the Union Cabinet. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has congratulated the farmers for this. He said it was a ‘defeat of the ego’. Lalu Prasad addressed party workers on the occasion of Silver Jubilee, the 25th foundation day of RJD in Patna on Wednesday. During this, he asked the Center to re-introduce the laws based on the advice of farmer leaders. The leader, who is out on bail, has threatened to continue the agitation if no law is brought in with the change.

Lalu Prasad Yadav said “Since the time immemorial we did not compromise with anyone. We helped to set up railways at the national level. Today, I congratulate the farmers that everyone supported them after which they won, and Narendra Modi lost. It is a defeat of arrogance. Now we want a new law based on his demands. Make it quick, otherwise we will continue our agitation.”
