The Superintendent of Police of Panipat has praised the rescue team by sharing the video of the operation on social media.

New Delhi:

A policeman and two forest department officials were injured during an operation to catch a leopard in Behrampur village of Panipat, Haryana. However, after hard work, the leopard was successfully caught. According to the information, the incident took place when the rescue team was conducting an operation to catch the leopard on Saturday. The team had received information that the villagers had seen a leopard. After which the team that went to the spot was attacked by the leopard. An SHO and two officers of the forest department were injured in this incident.

The Superintendent of Police of Panipat has praised the rescue team by sharing the video of the operation on social media. SP Shashank Kumar Sawan has written that it was a difficult day for the police and the people of the forest department during the work. Several members of the team have been injured. We salute their bravery and courage. Leopard and the entire team are safe.

The video of this incident which happened near Kharjan tea garden in Dibrugarh, Assam is also going viral on social media.
