New Delhi, ANI. Day by day decline is being registered in new cases of corona infection in the country. In two days, less than 10 thousand cases of infection have been registered. However, this deadly virus has caused havoc in many countries around the world. At the same time, the situation in India is getting better. According to the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, seven and a half thousand cases of infection have been reported in the country, which is the lowest in 543 days. At the same time, 236 patients have lost their lives due to this virus during this period. Apart from this, more than 12 thousand recoveries have been registered in the country.
According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, 7,579 new cases of corona infection have been reported and 236 deaths have been registered. Apart from this, 12,202 recoveries have been recorded in 24 hours and with this the number of active cases has come down to 1,13,584, which is the lowest in 536 days.
Out of the total cases, more than three and a half thousand cases are from Kerala only. According to the ministry, 3698 cases of corona infection have been reported in Kerala in the last 24 hours and 75 people have died during this period. Apart from this, 7515 recoveries have also been done here.
Active cases in the country are less than one per cent of the total cases, which is currently 0.33 per cent, the lowest since March 2020. Apart from this, the number of people who have been cured in the country has gone up to 3,39,46,749. Right now the recovery rate is 98.32 percent.
The daily positivity rate (0.79 per cent) has been observed to be less than 2 per cent in the last 50 days, the ministry said. At the same time, the weekly positivity rate (0.93 percent) is less than 2 percent in the last 60 days. In the last 24 hours, 71,92,154 doses of corona vaccine have been given. As per provisional reports as of 7 am today, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 117.63 crore (1,17,63,73,499).
