Seven people were killed and three were seriously injured in two shootings in northern California, hours after a gunman killed two people in the state of Iowa.

According to the report of AFP, at least nine people have died in three shooting incidents in the US today. A gunman opened fire on a crowd at a dance studio near Los Angeles, killing 11 people. These incidents have come to the fore in less than 48 hours after this incident. On the shooting in Northern California’s Half Moon Bay, the San Mateo County Sheriff tweeted, “Suspect in custody. There is no threat to the community at this time.” Two incidents were reported in fields close to each other in an area south of San Francisco. The shooting in Iowa happened at Starts Right Here, which runs an educational counseling program for youth. Two students were killed and three people were injured in the accident, out of which two are in critical condition.
“Both students have now died in hospital. The third person, a school employee, is in serious condition,” news agency AFP quoted a spokesman for the Des Moines Police Department as saying. The shootings came less than 48 hours after 11 people were killed in the deadliest Los Angeles shooting incident in the US since May. Again many people had to lose their lives in these shelling incidents.
