Mumbai:

Maharashtra Transport Minister Anil Parab appeared before the ED on Tuesday in a money laundering case. After the production, he said that I was called for questioning today. Whatever questions have been asked to me, I have answered all the questions. It has been given before and even after this, if asked, I will answer those questions. The resort of Dapoli, which is being told as mine, is not my resort, I have already told that, at present, I am not aware whether I will be called for questioning tomorrow or not. Tomorrow morning I will know about it and then I will take a decision on that.

Regarding the rebellion in Shiv Sena, he said that I do not have any information about the discussion about it. Since I was under ED’s interrogation for the whole day, I will not say anything on that subject. Significantly, the ED had issued summons asking Parab to appear at its regional office in Mumbai. Earlier, Parab was also summoned on June 15, but he did not appear on that day citing official work. .

The ED had raided the minister’s premises and places of people allegedly linked to him in May after registering a fresh case under PMLA against Parab and others. 57-year-old Parab is a three-time Legislative Council member of Shiv Sena. He is also the state’s transport and parliamentary affairs minister.
