In MGM Hospital, a medical board was formed on the instructions of the DC in the case of the death of pregnant Pooja Devi of Corona-infected telco Laxminagar and her unborn baby on Sunday. The medical board conducted the post-mortem of the dead body on Tuesday. The post-mortem videography was done under the supervision of CO Harishchandra Munda of Magistrate Mango Achal. After this the body was handed over to the relatives.
Here, the National Human Rights Commission has also taken cognizance of this matter. On the complaint of Omkar Vishwakarma, a human rights activist from Koderma, the commission has started investigation by registering case number 497/IN/2022. Aayog’s team will reach MGM Hospital in a day or two to investigate. At the same time, based on the written complaint of the families, the Sakchi police station is also investigating the matter.
The family demanded compensation of Rs 25 lakh and job to the dependent
It is to be known that on the second day of the woman’s death, the family members of Samwar had demonstrated outside the MGM Hospital premises, Sakchi police station, demanding action and compensation against the guilty doctor. Jharkhand Mazdoor Union spokesperson Chetan Mukhi said that the family has demanded compensation of Rs 25 lakh and job to the dependents. After the consent of both the parties, the body was sent for post-mortem.
Father said – MGM was taken for treatment on Sunday due to labor pain
Pooja Devi’s father Dinesh Prasad Rajak told that he had taken his daughter to MGM Hospital after she was in labor on Sunday. But he died due to lack of proper treatment there. Pooja was 9 months pregnant. After the incident, the family members created a ruckus at MGM Hospital.
