Even though the monsoon has departed from the western part of Rajasthan, many areas of East Rajasthan are still receiving good rains. This is due to the formation of a low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal. More than 12 districts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota and Udaipur divisions also received rain yesterday. Meteorologists say that the effect of this system can last for the next two days. Due to this, the rainy season will continue in these areas.

In Chalkoi village of Taranagar tehsil of Churu district, father-in-law and daughter-in-law were injured due to lightning during rain on Wednesday. During this, more than 20 goats sitting in the field died.

According to the report received from the Meteorological Center Jaipur, during the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall occurred in Dholpur, where 119 mm (more than 4 inches) of water rained. Dholpur town was flooded with water due to heavy rains. Apart from Dholpur city, there was good rain in Rajkheda, Sampu, Basedi and Mania areas.

The period of heavy rain was also seen in Bharatpur, Karauli. It rained 2 to 3 inches here. On the other hand, from Thursday morning, apart from Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota, Udaipur, many districts of Ajmer division remained cloudy.

Rainfall in these districts
During the last 24 hours in Rajasthan, apart from Dholpur, Bharatpur, it rained in many parts of Udaipur, Sikar, Churu, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Jhunjhunu, Jaipur, Dungarpur, Dausa, Baran, Banswara and Baran districts. In Alwar, the roads were flooded due to one to two inches of rain at many places. In Bharatpur also, heavy rains were recorded in Uchhain, Bayana, Kumher areas.

Monsoon will remain stagnant for the next one week
Monsoon may have departed from some parts of Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Barmer in the western part of the state, but for the next one week, no conditions are favorable for the withdrawal of monsoon from the remaining parts of the state.
