CIA-1 of Ambala Police has arrested the most wanted criminal of 5 thousand rupees. Police also recovered a country-made pistol and live cartridges from the possession of the criminal. Many cases are registered against the criminal Disa, a resident of Deha Colony, Ambala City. Police will produce Disha in court today and take her on remand.
5 thousand rupees reward announced on 25 January
According to the police, a case was registered against Deha Colony resident Disha on 27 August 2020 at Ambala City Police Station under sections 363, 366, 376 and 4,6,17 POCSO Act. Due to absconding, the court had declared the accused Disha as a fugitive. Not only this, Ambala Divisional Inspector General of Police had placed a reward of 5 thousand on 25 January 2022, declaring Disa as the most wanted.
Police action on secret information, country made pistol and cartridges recovered
The team of CIA-1 was formed by SP Jashandeep Singh Randhawa. A special team was constituted under the leadership of Inspector Sandeep Kumar and on a tip-off, the fugitive criminal Disa has been arrested from Kalka Chowk. On search, a country-made pistol and cartridges were also recovered from his possession. Ambala City Police Station has registered a case against the criminal under Arms Act.

According to the police, the offender Disha is a person of criminal nature. He has been in jail many times before. Not only this, Disa is also wanted in criminal cases in Rajasthan and Punjab. The police will take remand from the court for in-depth interrogation.
