In protest against the killing of two tribals in Simaria of Seoni, Madhya Pradesh, the bandh of many organizations on Monday saw a big impact in Seoni. A huge group of protesters marched on the road with slogans to hang the killers. The effect of the bandh was also seen at the district headquarters. The administration is alert regarding the bandh, police forces have been deployed on all the routes leading to Seoni. Entry of heavy vehicles into Seoni city limits has been kept closed. The people coming in this movement have been stopped by putting up check posts.

The people coming in the movement have sat at the checkpost itself due to not getting entry in Seoni city. In Simaria village of Seoni district, on Tuesday, May 3, 15-20 accused had beaten to death two tribals named Sampat Lal Vatti and Dhansay Inwati.

Significantly, two tribal youths were lynched in Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh. The charge of murder was leveled against the office-bearers and workers of Bajrang Dal. It is being told that two tribals were caught by the people of Bajrang Dal on suspicion of cow slaughter and had beaten them so much that both of them died on the spot.

After the incident, there is outrage among the people. People had blocked the National Highway of Kurai after the incident. Barghat MLA Arjun Kakodia also went to the spot as soon as he came to know about the incident. The MLA had demanded that as the Shivraj government is running bulldozers at the houses of the accused all over Madhya Pradesh, similarly bulldozers should be run at the houses of these accused.
