Distraught family members await information about their loved ones after a fire broke out in a commercial building in Delhi’s Mundka. Some people reached Sanjay Gandhi Hospital on Friday night in search of their loved ones.

These include members of Praveen’s family, who said they were on the lookout for Mundka after the fire broke out in his building on Friday. His family said ‘we don’t know where he is. Hospital officials are also not telling anything. Praveen’s phone is not available. We are just hoping that he is fine.

The fire broke out on the first floor of the Mundka building where the office of a company manufacturing CCTV cameras and routers is located. It is suspected that the fire may have started due to an explosion in the air-conditioned device (AC).

21-year-old Monika Tiwari has been missing since the incident. He started working in the company only last month.

His brother Ajit Tiwari said, “He started working in the CCTV camera packaging unit last month and got his first salary on Thursday. We got information about the fire at 5 pm but had no idea that the fire started in his office building itself. When she did not return home till 7 pm, we started looking for her.

Monika, who hails from Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh, lives in Agar Nagar, Delhi with her two brothers and a sister.

One of them, Ajit Tiwari, told that his sister Monica (21) is missing after the incident.

“He started working in the CCTV camera packaging unit last month and got his first salary on Thursday. We got information about the fire at 5 pm but had no idea that the fire started in his office building itself. When she did not return home till 7 pm, we started looking for her.

Monika, who hails from Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh, lives in Agar Nagar, Delhi with her two brothers and a sister.

According to fire brigade officials, the information about the fire was received at around 4.40 pm, after which 24 fire tenders were sent to the spot.

Ankit, who works in an office in the building, said a ‘motivational session’ was going on on the second floor when the fire broke out. He said, “I am very lucky that I survived. I could have lost my life too. When we learned about the fire, a motivational session was going on on the second floor of the building. We broke the window panes and somehow escaped.

Another person said that one of his relatives was missing, while some refused to talk to the media.

Meanwhile, Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officials said burnt human remains were found on the second floor of the building during a search operation on Saturday.

He said that at present two fire tenders are on the spot for the cooling operation.

“Our fire brigade personnel found the burnt bodies from the second floor during the search operation,” Garg said. But we cannot say whether there is one dead body or many bodies. Though the fire has been brought under control but the search and search operation is going on.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (External) Sameer Sharma said that the company’s owners Harish Goyal and Vijay Goel have been arrested in connection with the incident.

An FIR has been registered against him under sections 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 308 (attempt to culpable homicide), 120 (concealment to commit a punishable offence) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code, he said. Is.

The DCP said that all the floors of the building are being used by the same company. A case has also been registered against the owner of the building, Manish Lakra.

He said that the search operation is going on. Barring one of the 12 injured, the rest have been identified.

According to the list released by the District Magistrate of West Delhi, among the injured are Satish (38), Pradeep (36), Ashu (22), Harjeet (23), Nitin (24), Avinash (29), Sandhya (22), Dhanvati ( 21), Bimla (43), Ayesha (24) and Mamta (52).

The fire started near pillar number 544 of Mundka metro station.
