Congress has prepared a strategy for the urban body elections. The responsibility of elections has been given to the ministers in charge of the district. The office bearers and supervisors of the organization will help them. The CM told the observers working in the election that no one should roam in the electoral area but go to work.
In a meeting held at Rajiv Bhawan on the preparations for the civic elections, the CM said that the public welfare works of the government for three years should also be taken to the people. Like the last civic polls, this time also we have to perform better. State in-charge PL Punia said that only the candidates who can win will be given tickets. The manifesto will be prepared on five-six points. PCC Chief Mohan Markam had urged the CM to impose duty in the election of the ministers in charge. Shiv Dahria said that we should set a target of winning 350 seats (wards) in this election. The party organization has also given instructions to bring the list of candidates to the PCC by November 30.
Send only single name up to PCC
This time no bio-data will be taken from anyone for candidate selection. The officers of the Ward Committee and Booth Committee will prepare a single name after conducting a survey. If there is more than one claimant somewhere, then opinion should be prepared on one name at the district level itself, but then the matter is not resolved, then only in special circumstances it has been asked to send more than one name to the PCC.
Talk of malnutrition and Baikunthpur district also arose
In the meeting, some officials also complained about malnutrition. Officials said that there is resentment among people at some places. At the same time, it was also said that people are also angry about Khadgwan not being included in Baikunthpur district. There is a need to quell the anger of the people.
Also look at Khairagarh
Discussion was also held regarding the possible by-election to be held in Khairagarh Assembly. The Congress has also started preparing to make this seat in its favor. Therefore, the leaders of the organization have been asked to increase their activism from now on because former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh has a special influence on this seat. It is noteworthy that this seat has become vacant after the death of Devvrat Singh.
BJP candidates announced after Congress, meetings from today
For the elections to be held next month in the four municipal corporations, the BJP has held a meeting of the civic in-charges on Friday. In this, issues like candidate selection will be discussed. However, the party has indicated to announce the names a day before the last day of nominations. Ward elections are being held in more than 370 of 15 bodies of the state. Of these, Birgaon, Bhilai, Bhilai-Charoda, and Risali are municipal corporations. Till now BJP has not got majority in any municipal corporation.

The workers of Bhilai-Charoda will participate in the meeting. The in-charge of Bhilai Municipal Corporation is Bhupendra Singh Savanni, while the charge of Risali has been given to Kiran Dev. Sharma said that 3rd is the last day for withdrawal of nominations. Candidates will be announced a day or two in advance. Narayan Chandel is the in-charge of Birgaon Municipal Corporation. Apart from this, Khubchand Parekh is co-incharge. Due to being adjacent to Raipur, former minister Brijmohan Agarwal, city district president Srichand Sundrani, and other prominent leaders will be active here.
