On Mahasaptami, all the puja pandals including Jharkhand Maidan, DS Colony, Barmasia were opened for Mata’s darshan with Nav Patrika worship. Earlier on Tuesday, all the Puja pandal committees including Hirapur Hari Mandir, Jharkhand Maidan, Saraidhela Shiv Mandir went to bring the energized Nava Patrika with gaiety.

First of all, Kalabau (Banana plant) was wrapped in red cloth and made to sit on the Dali. Bail, Ashok and turmeric plants included in Nava Patrika, tied the paddy earring in yellow thread and aparajita twig and went to the pond. After bathing the Nava Patrika with holy water and wrapped in new clothes, attend the Kalabau pandal. Nava Patrika was worshiped by law along with Kalabau. Goddess Durga will be worshiped in Mahagairi form on Maha Ashtami on Wednesday.

Goddess Durga is worshiped in the form of Mahagairi on Maha Ashtami. Mahagairi Swarupa This form of Mata Durga is believed to be of Mata Parvati. Therefore, on Mahaashtami, it is considered of special importance to fill the gap of Mother Durga. Suhagin women with new clothes in yellow and red cloth along with all the items of makeup, along with turmeric, arva rice, betel nut, durva, liquid and other things, wish for an unbroken suhaag by filling the pot of Mother Durga.

Nine girls will be duly worshiped in Shakti temple

Girl worship will be done in Shakti temple. According to the temple management, after the Ashtami recitation, there will be a worship program for the girl. In this, Nai girls and their brother Swaroop Bhaira Baba will be worshiped according to the law. Fruits will be distributed to all as prasad.

The doors of Shakti temple will remain open till late tonight
Brajesh Mishra, manager of Shakti Mandir Committee, said that on Maha Ashtami, the doors of the temple will remain open throughout the day on Wednesday. From Mahasaptami to Vijayadashami, Goddess Durga will be adorned with red clothes and red flowers. Fruits will be eaten only.
