This is to say that the Chairman and Faculty Head of the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archeology, Jiwaji Rao University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Prof. Arvind Kumar Singh. He was speaking in the first episode of the Chocolingo (Frankling Sea Chocolingo Australian Historian) lecture series organized under the aegis of the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archeology of Banaras Hindu University on Wednesday.

‘Review of Historical Facts: In the light of archival evidence, giving his lecture on the subject, he said that many facts of ancient history books have now changed on the basis of new research. They should get a place in the curriculum at the earliest. Throwing light on the importance of records in Indian historiography, he discussed the study done in the field of Indian records. Reviewed the construction of major temples of Madhya Pradesh on the basis of records. His new ideas were presented through photographs on the temples and archival references received from important archaeological sites of the state like Jabalpur, Khajuraho, Morena, Gwalior etc.

Chief Guest Faculty of Arts Prof. Vijay Bahadur Singh appreciated the objectives of the event and highlighted the importance of history. Presided over by Prof. Sitaram Dubey.
