The connection of the Rs 21.70 lakh robbery that took place in Nepal’s Karsia on Monday in the Citizen Bank has been linked to the border areas of India. Out of the 8 miscreants who carried out the bank robbery case, three have been arrested. Two of them are residents of Araria and one from Nepal. At the same time, out of the 5 absconding miscreants, the police have claimed to be Indians. The miscreants carried out the crime by shooting the guard of the bank. The guard’s treatment continues.
The arrested miscreants include Sunil Yadav (32) of Shivpuri in Araria, Vijay Bahardar (35) of Narpatganj Godraha and Shyam Mukhiya, a resident of Munal Path, Ward No. 3 of Biratnagar, Nepal.
A special police team has been formed by Nepal’s Morang district police to investigate the incident. Morang police spokesman and Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Shrestha said that out of the 5 absconding in the bank robbery case, one is Nepali and four are Indians. Nepali Police has coordinated with Indian Security Agency to arrest the absconding miscreants with the help of Indian Police.
Eight miscreants shot and injured Sheetal Kunwar, the security guard of Citizen Bank in Kursia, on Monday. After this, after attacking the counter, the loot of 21 lakh 70 thousand rupees escaped. In this, the Nepali police arrested 3 of the fleeing miscreants from near the Nepal-India border on the same day. A country-made pistol was also recovered by Nepal Police from them. Firing was also done by Nepal Police on the miscreants fleeing in the order of arrest, in which Vijay Bahrdar was shot in the thigh and he was injured. Police also recovered a Pulsar bike of Nepal number from them.
Here, Narpatganj police station chief Shailesh Pandey told about Vijay Bahrdar, arrested in the bank robbery in Nepal, that it is a notorious criminal. Vijay has been jailed in many criminal cases in the past and was absconding these days in a murder case. Narpatganj police was also looking for it.
