Siddharthnagar: In order to give recognition to the Government Medical College, the National Medical Commission (NMC) team on Tuesday evening reviewed the works for three hours through virtual medium. Received information from the Medical College Administration about the unfinished works. The team was satisfied with the preparations for the admission to 100 seats of MBBS. Now the hope of getting recognition for the medical college has increased.

On August 4, a two-member team of the National Medical Commission (NMC) came to give recognition to the Madhav Prasad Tripathi Medical College on Jail Road in the district headquarters. At that time the furniture and equipment used by the students could not be procured. Full arrangements were not made to run the classes. Work in hostel and canteen was under construction. To complete these unfinished works, the NMC had given time for the month of August. After the passage of two months, the NMC reviewed the works of the Medical College through virtual medium from 3 pm to 6 pm on Tuesday. Principal Dr. Salil Kumar Srivastava showed each and every work to the team through video. Principal of Government Medical College, Dr. Salil Kumar Srivastava said that NMC reviewed the works through virtual medium for three hours. The works were shown through video. The team is completely satisfied. Hope to get recognition soon.

School lease will be canceled from pagoda land

Siddharthnagar: SDM Tribhuvan inspected the spot on Tuesday on the complaint of traders of Nagar Panchayat Badhni Chafa due to wrongly having cultivator lease of religious place pagoda and dispensary in Badhanichafa. Here the land of farmer allotment was found about one acre. Which is occupied by Ramdin School. The school was offered to give up the land of the pagoda dispensary and exchange it with private land in lieu of the land on which the school is built. But the report of cancellation of the lease was sent to the DM after no response was given. Similarly, SDM inspected Dumariaganj Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya. Girls from 100 poor families study here. Ordered for school renovation. Due to the dilapidated condition of the school building, water leaks from the roof. Directed the executive officer to the Nagar Panchayat to make improvements and started the work.
